Minushae is a play on the word, Minutiae, meaning “small, precise details”. This is my view of the world. Full of beautiful details and amazing colours and light.
I choose to see the beautiful vibrance of the world around us. It became even more important to me after being diagnosed with cancer. A cancer that came back 3 more times, ending with a bone marrow transplant in early 2009. During those weeks of hospitalisation, my solace was the passing of clouds outside my window, and the collection of bright images decorating the walls of my isolation room.
It was the support and care of my loved ones, and those images reminding me of the beauty of the world, which got me through. To this day I am grateful for the beauty that surrounds us. The beauty that we often rush past or perhaps dont fully appreciate until we no longer have access to it.
Minushae aims to honor the earth, by showcasing its wonder through out your home. It is my gift, to you, of light, vibrancy and hopes for a healthy future.
